After days of long awaited rain all over California, West Marin is exploding in spring colors right now, with lush rolling green hills and blooming wildflowers as far as the eye can see - and the perfect backdrop for our friends' annual Easter egg hunt and potluck, a favorite Easter tradition celebrating its 16th anniversary this year! { also see this post }
We arrived at the farm as tables were getting decked out with a range of homemade dishes - from spring salads to savory stews to grilled meats to a huge round table dedicated just to desserts, cakes and other pastries. Friends kept arriving with more platters and bowls while everyone sat down along long wooden tables set up in the barn. After sharing a memorable Easter feast with friends old and new, it was time to send the kids off into the meadows, hunting for hundreds of Easter goodies hidden in the tall grass and around the barn and farmhouse ...
